Funny Motivational Speakers
Looking for something unique for your next corporate event?
Why not consider one of the nation’s top funny motivational speakers?
Are you tired of attending the same old dull and uninspiring business events? Looking to inject some much-needed energy and excitement into your next meeting? Well, why not consider hiring a funny motivational speaker?
The best funny motivational speakers can transform your event from ordinary to extraordinary.
- Studies show that humor has a profound impact on our brain chemistry. When we laugh, our bodies release endorphins, which make us more receptive to new ideas.
- It also helps workers improve their communication and creativity as well as increased team bonding and morale.
Motivational speaking is big business.
- In contrast, the best humorous motivational speakers help your employees do better at their jobs by bringing fun to the message. I should know. Because for over three decades, I’ve been a funny fake expert for virtually every industry.

- Now understand, I’ve never held political office or climbed Mt. Everest. I’ve never made a billion dollars, rowed an ocean, or written a self-help book. So, I have none of the qualifications that most motivational speakers have.
- I am however, one of the top funny motivational speakers in the U.S. Many of the nation’s leading speaker bureaus, lecture agents, and meeting planners consider me their go-to guy for meeting entertainment.
- So, audiences believe that I’m a genius in their field, even as I get them laughing. In fact, some people think I’m real even AFTER I’ve revealed that I’m a fake.
What Makes A Great Funny Motivational Speaker?
- Everyone has seen the typical speaker who makes a few witty opening remarks to get the audience on their side. But then they get down to business. I basically turn that tactic upside down. I too, start off with a few light jokes. But as soon as I bring up each actual serious issue, I wrap a joke around it. And I do it all with a straight face so I am believable and funny at the same time. As a result, everyone is laughing, while still wondering if I’m for real.
So, what’s my secret to becoming a Humorous Motivational Speaker?
- 1. COMEDY WRITING – I’ve always been considered a strong comedy writer. Early in my career, a then unknown but well respected Jerry Seinfeld approached me. He said, “Harry you’re a really good writer. And, added, “I don’t just say that to anyone.” During the course of my career, I’ve written for talents that include Joan Rivers, David Brenner, Dick Cavett, Richard Jeni, and more.
- 2. PUBLIC SPEAKING- I learned watching my father who was a lawyer, a judge and a terrific orator. When I ran for office in high school, I surprised and rocked my class of 600 by making a funny speech when they were expecting serious. During college, I won an award at the Student Model Harvard United Nations as a top “delegate.” (For that one, I was serious.)
- 3. ACTING – I’ve had years of training from some of New York City’s top acting coaches. Joanna Beckson worked with Ray Romano, Kevin James and more. Rick Imberman worked with Al Pacino. This has helped me enhance my ability to sustain the pretense of being a funny business expert with conviction and depth.
- 4. RESEARCH – I like to learn everything about your company, industry and key people. So, when I bring up real issues, the audience truly believes, I AM that expert. Or, if you’re a Seinfeld fan, as George Costanza once said, “In that moment, I was a marine biologist.”
- 5. STAND UP COMEDY CHOPS – I’ve been a regular at the most competitive clubs in New York such as Catch a Rising Star, The Comedy Cellar, Carolines, The Comic Strip, Broadway, Dangerfields, and the Original Improv. And I learned how to work ALL audiences by touring the country.
Putting it all together to be a Funny Keynote Speaker
When I perform at a comedy club the audience is already expecting to laugh. But when I get a business crowd laughing who are expecting a serious speaker, the laughter has an even greater impact.
I have played experts in health care, tech, banking, real estate, law, government, defense, and more. I’ve been an “advisor” to 5 different presidents. I even convinced former NY Mets baseball star and tv announcer Keith Hernandez that I was an actual sports fitness doctor on national television.
Benefits of Using a Funny Motivational Speaker
1. Send everyone off with a smile. I recently spoke to a conference of 500 weary scientists and doctors on the forefront of new age medicine. On the last morning of a four-day event, I was introduced as a top doctor to a crowd getting ready to head home. The producer was thrilled as I woke everyone up and got them all hysterically laughing. Dozens of attendees came up to me saying, “You were just what we needed to get through the last day.”
2. Easing a tough situation – I presented to Los Alamos Nuclear Lab employees who were about to be let go. Worse, they were literally training their replacements. So, this was an emotional farewell dinner. I was Introduced a senior official from Department of Defense. I got them laughing by joking about some of the things they WOULDN’T miss after leaving Los Alamos. Like the fact that the best restaurants there were Sonic, Subway and Dominos.
3. My client, Rick Kacich, the Deputy Lab Director stated, “We got a a group of people anxious and uncertain about their futures. The feedback I’ve gotten confirms their reaction is exactly what i was hoping for. Thanks Harry for doing a great job.”
So, don’t settle for ordinary meeting entertainment or corporate comedy. Choose extraordinary. Together, we can create an unforgettable experience that will inspire a warm positive and joyful atmosphere that will supercharge your organization.
And clients love seeing the benefits to their employees and business partners.
