A lot actually, and I worried about all of it.
I was hired to “liven up” a Temple luncheon for a retiring rabbi who was beloved by all. I’ve seen too many audiences sit through schmaltzy tribute videos that turn someone’s life story into a chore, rather then a satisfying and enjoyable journey.
So, I wanted to capture the rabbi’s essence, but also create an experience that brought fun and laughter. And I had to do it without offending anyone at a temple no less, so I needed to be tasteful, gentle and safe. The following video contains some highlights of my program including an opening toast. If you want to offer your clients something truly joyous and original, please consider this demo for their approval.
